How do I get to Marfa?
You have a number of options. You can fly to El Paso or Midland, rent a car and drive. El Paso and Midland airports are serviced by most major carriers. The drive to Marfa is about 190 miles from either airport (El Paso is the larger airport and generally has less expensive rental cars).
If you have a private plane or small charter, there is a municipal airfield north of Marfa, aptly named Marfa Municipal Airport. The Marfa Airport is about 15 minutes from the Guest House. There are rental car companies in Alpine that we’ve heard will pick you up at the airport. Visit the links page for the Marfa Municipal Airport.
You can drive – the scenery is pretty incredible and the highways have high speed limits (most are around 80mph).
What size are the beds?
There are 4 bedrooms. Two with queen size beds, 1 with a king size, and 1 with 2 twin beds.

“My family of 6 stayed for 2 nights recently, and we very much enjoyed our time in Marfa|608. The place is spacious and stylish; 2 of our 6 are architects and appreciated the design elements and magazines. Access was easy, the beds were comfortable, and we even played their Trivial Pursuit on a rainy evening. Check-out was a breeze as well. We’d love to stay there again!” ~Aaron D.
“Robert’s home is absolutely perfect for the perfect get-a-way in Marfa. It was clean and had all the modern conveniences you could ask for. The location couldn’t be better too! It’s in town close to restaurants, galleries and all the this amazing town has to offer. Robert was immediately responsive to any questions we had and was a super friendly and always helpful. Thanks so much to Robert for a wonderful time!” ~Jason C.
“We had a great time exploring Marfa and the surrounding areas and this house was a perfect place for our 2015 Thanksgiving. We had three generations occupying the house and we had plenty of space to cook, eat, play games, watch TV and relax. The house is clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. In addition, the kitchen is fully equipped. I would recommend this home to friends and family and would definitely stay here again.” ~Liz E.
